Bovenstaande constateringen heeft professor Jim Storr onderzocht in Something Rotten, Land Command in the 21stCentury. De parallellen met onze Krijgsmacht zijn overduidelijk aanwezig.
Gecombineerd met de hernieuwde focus op het grootschalig gevecht is het dan ook meer dan relevant om onze wijze van commandovoeren in het Landdomein te beschouwen en te bediscussiëren.
Dit is dan ook het onderwerp tijdens het VOV Najaarssymposium op donderdag 7 november 2024.
